Light-duty roller: The bearing bore is usually 80-100mm, and the shaft and hub are generally single-plate welded cylinder structures with a single key connection. 2. Medium-sized drum: The bearing bore is generally 120-180mm, and the shaft and hub are mostly connected by expansion sleeves. 3. Heavy-duty rollers: The bearing bores are mostly 200-220mm, the shafts and hubs are mostly connected by expansion sleeves, and the cylinder is a cast-welded structure. There are two types of shafts: unidirectional and bidirectional. In order to increase the coefficient of friction, a rubber bottom surface with a herringbone groove is usually added to the surface of the steel smooth roller. This roller has directivity and cannot be reversed. The roller conveyor uses a herringbone grooved rubber-covered roller. Even when working in wet places, the reduction of the friction series will be small, because the groove can interrupt the film of water without water accumulation. The driving roller in the roller conveyor is divided as a single-point driving method, and can be divided into a single roller driving and a double roller driving. Single-roller drives are mostly used on less powerful conveyors. Double-roller transmission is mostly used on high-power conveyors, because it is not only compact, but also can increase the enclosing angle to increase the traction that the roller conveyor can transmit. In addition, the use of double drum transmission can not only use multiple motors for separate transmission, but also use gear transmission to make the two drums run at the same speed.
